SUNEAST presented its latest storage technologies and mobile creation accessories at CP+ 2026, one of the world’s leading exhibitions for cameras and imaging technologies, held at PACIFICO Yokohama from February 26 to March 1, 2026.

This year’s event featured 149 exhibitors, the largest number in the exhibition’s history, and welcomed more visitors than the previous year. Photographers, videographers, and imaging professionals from across Japan and around the world gathered to explore the latest innovations shaping the future of visual creation.

Under the theme “More POP, More Fun,” the SUNEAST booth focused on the expanding global creator community and the evolving ways people create visual content. Rather than presenting storage purely through technical specifications, SUNEAST highlighted its products as tools that support real creative workflows, helping creators capture, store, and produce their work with greater confidence and flexibility.

◾️Performance Matters: What Creators Look for in Storage

During the exhibition, SUNEAST conducted surveys and interviews with visitors at its booth, collecting responses from thousands of participants.

Among the insights gathered, storage performance emerged as one of the most important considerations when choosing recording media. Many respondents cited write speed and stable recording performance as key purchasing factors, reflecting a growing demand for storage solutions capable of supporting increasingly demanding imaging environments.

As high-resolution photography and high-bitrate video production continue to evolve, fast, stable, and reliable storage is becoming an essential part of modern creative workflows.

◾️Professional-Grade CFexpress 4.0

At the SUNEAST booth, the ULTIMATE PRO CFexpress 4.0 SILVER Series VPG400 attracted strong attention from visitors.

The series includes both CFexpress Type B and Type A models, each supporting VPG400, delivering stable write performance even in demanding shooting environments such as high-bitrate video recording and high-speed continuous shooting. These next-generation storage solutions were presented as tools designed to support professional imaging workflows.

In particular, the Type B model drew interest from professional photographers and video creators, with many visitors commenting that it looked reliable for high-bitrate video production and capable of keeping up with high-speed burst shooting.

Meanwhile, the Type A model gained attention from Sony camera users, with many expressing excitement about finally being able to try it themselves. Throughout the exhibition, many visitors stopped to take a closer look and handle the product at the display area.

◾️Expanding Creative Possibilities Through Compact Design

This yearʼs exhibition also featured the upcoming Gold Series II Portable SSD and the R10 mini Portable SSD.

Both models have been significantly redesigned to be more compact than previous generations, offering improved portability for creators who need reliable storage on the move.

During the event, many creators commented on how the smaller form factor makes these drives ideal for outdoor shooting and easier to carry alongside other equipment.
Designed to fit naturally into modern production workflows, these compact storage solutions attracted strong interest from creators seeking greater flexibility in their shooting style.

◾️Taking Smartphone Creation to the Next Level

SUNEAST also introduced SnapClick II, a smartphone filmmaking accessory designed for creators who shoot video and photos on iPhone.
Released on February 24, the system supports both CPL and VND filters, bringing professional optical control to mobile shooting.

Visitors were particularly interested in how easily the filters can be integrated into a smartphone workflow.
Beyond content creators, the product also drew attention from technically minded attendees curious about the filter design and mechanism.

To further support smartphone-based production, SUNEAST also showcased additional accessories including a 30W ultra-compact PD fast charger and the upcoming magnetic mobile battery scheduled for release in April.
Together, these accessories offer a lighter and more flexible mobile production environment for creators who want to shoot anywhere, anytime.

◾️Every Gift, Designed for Creators

At the SUNEAST booth, special gifts were prepared as a token of appreciation for the creators who visited during the event.

Rather than simple giveaways, each item was selected with creatorsʼ real workflows in mind. Visitors received practical tools such as a magic towel for protecting cameras and lenses, a tote bag for carrying equipment and accessories, limited-edition CP+ 2026 3D stickers, and a V30 SD card ready to capture their next project.

Through these small yet thoughtful items, SUNEAST hopes to support creators not only at the moment of capture but throughout the entire creative process.

Looking ahead, SUNEAST will continue to develop products and ideas that empower creators and support their pursuit of new expression and creative challenges.
