Born on December 19, 1966, in Osaka, Japan (Age 57)
Katsuji Yoshida began mountaineering in 1988, and in 1994, he discovered caving, leading him to become a cave explorer in search of uncharted and unexplored worlds.
He is the President of the Japan Caving Federation
and the CEO of Earth Exploration Co., Ltd.
Additionally, he leads the Japan Exploration Team (J.E.T).

Yoshida has made numerous television appearances on programs such as "Passion Continent" and "Crazy Journey."
He is also the author of several books, including Cave Maniac, The Wonderful World of Cave Exploration, and I Am a Cave Explorer.
